Walnut Pie: Nana’s Heavenly Recipes Tips & Tricks

1/2 cup brown sugar ,packed 9 inch unbaked pie shell
2 TBS. flour
1 1/four cup gentle corn syrup
three TBS. butter
1/four Tsp. salt
three eggs
1 1/2 Tsp. vanilla
1 cup walnut halves and items

Combine brown sugar and flour in saucepan. Add corn syrup,butter and salt.and heat over low warmth till butter is melted. In massive bowl,beat eggs with vanilla.Stir within the sugar combination. Flip into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with walnuts. Bake on decrease rack at 350 for 40-45 minutes till filling is ready in heart.

  4. Hi Nana I love love your show.  I have a tip that may help you and others. I use it all the time when I have something thick and gooey like corn syrup.  Spray your measuring device with Pam or cooking spray and it will slip right out no scraping needed.   Hope that makes your baking easier.
